Pain!
I was scheduled for glucose test today. Fasted from 12am. Reached clinic at 9.30am to extract the first tube of blood. Then, I was told to take a big cup of super sugary drink that make me feel sick. Next hour, another tube of blood was taken. The classic part, the nurse commented that my blood was very red and she suspected that I might be suffering from anemia! Hai, feedback was given to doctor and he gave instruction for an extra tube of blood to be taken so as to test my level of red blood cells. So, the next hour, instead of one last tube of blood for the glucose test, two tube was taken instead. The results, 2 needle holes on each hand! Finally had my first drink at 12pm and lunch with Mr around 1pm. Now, I'm home resting on bed sipping red dates longan drink brewed awhile ago. My new KPI for this month, earn back my red blood cells!
